Poli crepes – deep-fried crepes with Poli

60 min. using both hands
  • Crepe batter (1 egg, 1,5 dl milk, 150 g flour, water if necessary, salt, oil for sautéing)
  • Filling:
  • 250 g POLI
  • 2 dl sour cream
  • 1 pickled cucumber
  • 1 pickled pepper
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • white flour, eggs, breadcrumbs
  • Oil for deep-frying
  • Ground pepper

Mix the eggs, water, flour and salt and whisk the mixture. Try to get just the right batter thickness. Cook 8 salty yet delicious crepes. Chop the POLI sausage and the pickled vegetables into small cubes, add the sour cream and pour ketchup over the filling. Mix with pepper and spread over the crepes. Fold the edges, wrap tightly, coat with flour, eggs and breadcrumbs evenly and deep fry. Enjoy them hot and delicious, dribbling down your chin.
