Poli Hot Bread

20 min. using your left hand only
  • 300 g POLI
  • 400 g French bread (1 loaf)
  • 100 g butter
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 300 g Gouda cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 180 g fresh pepper
  • 300 g tomato
  • 4 slices Gouda cheese
  • 1 tsp seasoning mix for tomato dishes
  • Salt, ground pepper

Cut the loaf horizontally, creating a top and a bottom half. Spread butter on both halves and put them on the baking tray. Cut the POLI and the cheese into cubes, add ketchup, ground pepper, the seasoning mix and stir thoroughly. Coat the bread halves with the spread and bake them in a pre-heated oven at 200 °C for 12 minutes. In the meantime, cut the tomato and the pepper into thin slices. Take the bread halves out of the oven and cover them with tomato and pepper slices. Sprinkle with salt. Cut the cheese slices into triangles and put them on top, then return the bread to the oven for about 3 minutes until the cheese melts. Cut the halves as you wish and eat them hot.
