Poli with cheese and bacon

  • 400 g POLI (8 thick slices)
  • 120 g smoked bacon (8 thin slices)
  • 160 g Edam cheese (16 slices)
  • flour, eggs, breadcrumbs
  • Oil for deep-frying

Place a slice of cheese both under and on top of a slice of POLI and wrap it with bacon. Coat the slices with flour, eggs and breadcrumbs evenly, twice if necessary, to prevent they fall apart. Enjoy the juicy home-made culinary creation in the company of vegetables. All the gourmets can enrich it with a drop of lemon juice.
