Savoury Poli Crepe Cake

  • Savoury crepe batter (1 egg, 1dl milk, 100 g white flour, salt)
  • 250-300 g cheese
  • 250-300 g POLI
  • 100 g fresh red pepper
  • 200 g béchamel sauce
  • Butter to grease the pan

Cook the crepes and let them cool down. In emergency, you are allowed to eat one or two while they are still warm. Grate the POLI sausage and the cheese; chop the pepper into small pieces. Put a crepe on the bottom of a greased flameproof casserole and coat it with ¼ POLI, cheese and pepper filling (add onion if you wish). Cover with the next crepe and repeat the procedure until you come to the top (approximately 4 layers). Coat the top crepe with béchamel sauce and sprinkle with the rest of the cheese. Bake at 190 °C for approximately 20 minutes until the cake is crispy and golden in colour.
